We are the largest importer of protein meals into Australia and supply product to a range of feed manufacturers and customers.

Glencore Agriculture employees have a wealth of experience, in a wide range of areas, across the grain industry. This experience includes farming operations, logistics, storage and handling, accumulation, trading, finance and quality control.
Our field officers are based in the five growing regions across Australia and are focused on building relationships with growers. Attending grower meetings and industry functions as well as visiting growers on their farms is a key part of their role.
All Glencore Agriculture team members regularly update their knowledge by attending conferences and field days, visiting growers and end-use producers and participating in end-use product knowledge training such as animal food nutrition, feedlot management, baking, malting and brewing courses.
Sharing knowledge and market insight is also an important part of what we do. Members of the Glencore Agriculture team attend and speak at conferences and grower events. We also regularly invite international and domestic end-use customers to tour Glencore Agriculture facilities and meet growers so the customers can better understand the life cycle of the commodities they use. Growers in turn also gain a better understanding of where their commodities end up.

Supporting our communities
Glencore Agriculture is committed to supporting the regional communities in which we operate, through sponsorship and support for a variety of grower groups, industry events and conferences as well as numerous local community organisations and sporting groups. Groups and events we support include the Australian Grain Industry Conference (AGIC) both in Australia and Asia, the Dowerin and Horsham field days, MacKillop Farm Management Group (MFMG), South Australian No-Till Farmers Association (SANTFA) and the Victorian Farmers Federation (VFF).
Glencore Agriculture has also made significant donations to the appeals supporting growers, in response to emergency situations, such as the fires in Esperance in WA and Pinery in SA.

Our SafeAgri initiative drives our safety culture where all employees and visitors are encouraged to report hazards, as and when they find them, approach colleagues
