The Grain Trade Australia (GTA) contracts provide the terms and conditions for trading grain within Australia. The GTA contracts cover all grains, oilseeds and pulses.

Anyone purchasing, selling, trading, broking or operating in the grain industry should read and understand the documents and information that can be found via the below links.

All cotton contracts are covered under Australian Cotton Shippers Association (ASCA) Best Practice Trading Rules/Guidelines and any disputes will be governed by the International Cotton Association (ICA) dispute resolution rules found within the Bylaws and Rules of ICA.


Grower forms and information

  • Deferred payment
  • Glencore Agriculture offers growers payment options to suit their needs including the option to defer payment for contracts. For further payment information visit For Growers.

  • Contract washout
  • If you have committed to a contract and anticipate you will not be able to deliver the volume or quality required under the contract by the delivery end date you will be required to default on the contract.

  • Commodity vendor declaration
  • For growers providing grain direct from farm to end users (either when delivered by the grower or collected from farm by Glencore Agriculture).

  • NGR ISCC
  • Glencore Agriculture has joined with five of Australia’s other major canola marketers; ADM, Bunge, Cargill, Centre State and GrainCorp to create a streamlined and simplified process for growers selling their canola to European markets for biofuel.
